Ultra recruits freaks, mutants and antisocial types from all across the timestream to combat other horrible people with Lasers and Psychic Powers and Hate to ward off the Grim Meathook Future that hovers over humanity like some vast predatory bird.

Maximum Ultra is not about Learning Lessons and Becoming A Better Person. It's about horrible people blowing up horrible things because it's better than getting a real job. It's about talking gorillas punching frog-men in the face and calling it Fun. It's about Lovecraft and giant robots and radioactive dinosaurs and explosions and having sex with your interdimensional twin.

In short, it's about all of us.
